The founders are all Smithtown residents with children who attend Smithtown schools. Two graduated from Smithtown High Schools and another moved here six years ago to make a better life with her family. We have prior experience in the business world and have all have/had careers in diverse fields, one holds a doctorate in Cardiovascular/Metabolics, one is a former VP from Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse investment banks, and the other is an AP Chemistry teacher. We own private businesses and are active as in our community as PTA volunteers and Girl Scout leaders.
HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?
The BBCF can only be successful with the help and support of our community! We are currently looking for volunteers to chair/form committees from each Smithtown School to help make our foundation a true community resource. We are also in need of anyone with not for profit experience to join our advisory board. If anyone is interested in volunteering, please contact us at fitzyBBCF@optonline.net

DONATIONS & SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES:
Your support can make a difference for families in our own backyard! Civic minded companies and dedicated individuals who donate time, money, products and services will allow us to help local families cope with mounting medical (or other) bills in their time of crisis. Doctors, lawyers, accountants, social workers, and other caring professionals who give generously of their time and expertise will allow the foundation to operate effectively and efficiently.
If you or someone you know would like to make a difference in our community by becoming a sponsor either for the foundation or for a particular fundraiser, wishes to be on our advisory committee, or wants to make a one time donation as a remembrance of someone's special day or as a memoriam to a loved one, please contact us at
